FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS – AND THEIR ANSWERS

  • Do you travel for weddings?

Yes! I am happy to shoot locally, internationally and everywhere in between.

  • What equipment do you use? Do you have a back-up camera?

I have two professional grade Nikon cameras and DSLR equipment, and I carry back-ups. After an event, the digital files are promptly copied and stored in more than one location for security purposes.

  • When should I book my photographer?

I suggest, at minimum, 6-8 months for weddings. The earlier the better!

  • Do you work with a second photographer?

For all but the smallest weddings, I bring along a wonderful second photographer. These photographers are training to be full-time wedding photographers, and produce amazing and compelling images. A second photographer provides an alternate angle and perspective for photographs during key parts of the day.

  • How many images will we receive?

It depends on the size of the event.  However, I typically take thousands of images on a standard day, and there is no limit to the number of images that you will receive.  However, it is dependent upon the length of the day. You will receive a brilliant collection of final images that I have personally edited - to ensure you have the highest quality and most compelling images. You will receive a final collection of images that truly capture your special day!

  • When will we see our images?

Your online gallery is typically ready for viewing no later than 45 days, assuming the event and photoshoot takes place at the scheduled date and time. Teaser photos will be shared as well to the bride and groom in advance.

  • What happens if you’re sick?

In the unlikely event that I will be unable to perform to the guidelines of the contract due to an injury, illness, act of God, act of terrorism, or other cause beyond control, I will make every effort to secure a replacement. If the situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event(s).

  • Do you offer any special collections for elopements and other smaller weddings?

Absolutely! I love photographing small, private celebrations! If you’re planning a smaller celebration or event that takes place mid-week, or in the quieter season (November - March), I may be able to offer a discount on my regular wedding collection prices. However, if your intimate celebration takes place on a prime weekend date (a Saturday or Sunday during the spring, summer or fall), regular rates will apply.

  • We are not getting married, but we’d like to hire you for a portrait session or an event. Will you work with us?

Although I primarily photograph weddings, I also photograph portraits and events throughout the year. Please contact me with details about your photography needs and I’ll let you know more information including rates and session options.
